Valentine's dinner

This once ever occassion took place about 3 years ago. Phillip was home so we decided that we would go out for a Valentin'es dinner. Being that it is valentie's day and we didnt think ahead we had no choice but to bring the kids with us. One of the kids being 1 years old made it extra fun.

Anyways, we got all dressed up and got the kids looking nice and we jumped in the car and drove to chico. (the kids where hungry before we left the house) We get to chico 45 mins later and now they are extra hungry, but all i can think is--yes they will eat all their dinner tonight.

As we are walking up we see the big huge crowd outside and it hits me--THIS IS GOING TO BE HELL. We check in and they tell us it is going to be a 45 min wait. AAAAAh what do we do. Do we leave or stick it out.......well we stuck it out. There was no more chairs to sit in while we waited and it was so col outside so we just had to stand in front of people. The first time a chair opened---it was like war.. but we got one. I think we sat for about ten minutes when jacob had enough. He started crying and they took us immediately back. Looking back maybe it wasn't such a bad idea bringing them after all. I'm sure with out them we would have sat there waiting for and hour.

So once we sat, the waitor comes over and you can feel the rush he was in, which made our eating experience fun. Everything was so rushed. Once we sat down it was like we had to hurry so all those other people could sit and eat too... So at least tghe kids didn't have to wait to long for their food.

After we were done we decided that we are not going to go out on valentine's day again. It was just to stressful.

Oh yah i forgot to mention that we went to the olive garden, in case you were wondering. although we were so very rushed......it was very good!
