My little girl and me

This is a picture of Me and Kaelina. I don't take too many photos with my children, because I don't want to see me. I love taking photos of my children though.

She felt so special to take a picture with me so I thought I would share it with you too.

The Nothing is coming

I haven't blogged about anything in so long. Even still I don't have anything to blog about. I'm just sitting around waiting for something to inspire me.

My son who is 4 used to know all his letter names and sounds. but I guess I have been really lazy with him, because he totally forgot them. I have been working with him again and it looks like there is hope for the up coming kindergarten year. I was starting to worry. He still has trouble with about 5 of the letters but he does know the sounds of them. But and here is the big BUT, he does not like holding a pencil. Which means he don't write. We are working on that too, but I'm thinking that one won't be as fun.

What else can I ramble about......Oh Emily has been working on her number test. She has been on her 11's for about 2 weeks. I started testing her at home (she has 2 minutes to finish all the problems. It's a mixture of adding and subtracting) she can now do them in 1 minute and get them all correct. But when she goes to school and takes the test she misses 1. Whats up with that. She is so sad. I encourage her and she goes to school with all hope. It breaks my heart when she comes home and says I missed one again. I tell her: That's OK sweety we'll try again. So today I hope she can come home and say: I did it!!!

Since i talked about 2 of my children I might as well talk about my other child. Kaelina was excited this morning. She couldn't get ready for school fast enough.. She got dressed and announced that today is Hockey day. She talked about hockey all morning. I'm happy that she is so happy. Every Wednesday for homework she gets to write a story using her spelling words. That has to be her favorite homework to do. She of course bases all her stories about us and it is so cute.

Well I think that is about it for me.....Hopefully I will have something more exciting to blog about next time.

Valentine's dinner

This once ever occassion took place about 3 years ago. Phillip was home so we decided that we would go out for a Valentin'es dinner. Being that it is valentie's day and we didnt think ahead we had no choice but to bring the kids with us. One of the kids being 1 years old made it extra fun.

Anyways, we got all dressed up and got the kids looking nice and we jumped in the car and drove to chico. (the kids where hungry before we left the house) We get to chico 45 mins later and now they are extra hungry, but all i can think is--yes they will eat all their dinner tonight.

As we are walking up we see the big huge crowd outside and it hits me--THIS IS GOING TO BE HELL. We check in and they tell us it is going to be a 45 min wait. AAAAAh what do we do. Do we leave or stick it out.......well we stuck it out. There was no more chairs to sit in while we waited and it was so col outside so we just had to stand in front of people. The first time a chair opened---it was like war.. but we got one. I think we sat for about ten minutes when jacob had enough. He started crying and they took us immediately back. Looking back maybe it wasn't such a bad idea bringing them after all. I'm sure with out them we would have sat there waiting for and hour.

So once we sat, the waitor comes over and you can feel the rush he was in, which made our eating experience fun. Everything was so rushed. Once we sat down it was like we had to hurry so all those other people could sit and eat too... So at least tghe kids didn't have to wait to long for their food.

After we were done we decided that we are not going to go out on valentine's day again. It was just to stressful.

Oh yah i forgot to mention that we went to the olive garden, in case you were wondering. although we were so very rushed......it was very good!

home

Vacation is over.

He says he had fun, I hoipe he really did. We didn't ge to leave town and I know he was bummed about that, but honestly the wheather was awful and I wouldn't have went anywhere with him.

But not to worry he has another week of vacation coming up and we are going to go camping. He is pretty excited about that.

Um I think that is pretty much it.
