let me take you back ooh about 2 weeks ago. I'm sitting at my dinning room table, I've got my computer my calculator and a massive stack of bills to be filed and a stack to be paid. I'm happy and having a nice day.

I get up from the table to get my coffee which my sister had brought me. It has a lid, so i know i will be careful not to spill on my gadgets. After working on my pile for a while i decide that i can use a break. I go check on the kids and I watch some tv. Well now if i feel like i can start doing my work again, so i'm heading toward the table b-bopping along ( singing about how i was gonna pay my pills) i creep closer to the table still dancing away. now I'm right up on the table and what should happen...... i bump my coffee cup and watch it slowly tip.

Instantly i shout NOOOOO. I couldn't move. I just watched it slowly glug out of the cup directly on to my calculator. Finally i snap out of it, but do i pick up the cup to stop the spill.. no instead i walk all the way across the kitchen and grab some paper towels. I finally take my half emptied cup of coffee off my calculator and i began to clean the mess but i know deep in my soul that I've lost my calculator.

I start immediately the heart breaking surgery of unscrewing the screw so i can dry the inside, but its to massive. There is nothing i can do. So i tell my self to give it one day. Just one day to dry up. so i eagerly wait, and the next day comes and .......

SHE DIDN'T MAKE IT.

So i gather all her parts and pieces and i place her oh so gently into the trash can. I'm feeling sad for the next couple of days.

It was just another Wednesday, I walk outside to go to walmart and I'm helping my son into the truck when i spot out of the corner of my eye THE TRASH MAN.

It brought back all the good and the bad memories of my calculator. As he pulls into my driveway all i can do is watch as he dumps my trash can into the smelly, disgusting trash compartment. I listen and can hear the crushing of the items inside.

I silently say one last goodbye and i never look back.

Some people may not feel this way about their calculator but i obviously do. Ha Ha Ha (sad becasue i'm serious)

If it helps, one time Hannah fell and busted her lip by the front window. It was right after we moved in and instead of grabbing her and inspecting for damage to make sure her brain wasn't falling out, I grabbed her and ran to linoleum so that she wouldn't bleed all over the carpet. We do silly things when we are panicking
