Daddy's little girl

Normally hearing those words--Daddy's little girl--sends shivers up my spine, but in this picture that is clearly the case.
I love this picture. On this particular day she wouldn't leave daddy's side. I think we were on a walk back from the beach.

Whats going on?

What can i say about this picture.....Hmmmm......

This is a picture of my husband and my sister. It looks like he is violating her ass. To make his situation even worse--- take a look at his face. He looks like he is enjoying what he is doing. The part of my sisters face that you can see looks like she likes it too. (Just Kidding)

I wish I could tell you what is really going on, but I have no clue. So maybe you have some ideas to fit the story.

Christmas

Christmas was fun. The kids are over joyed with they're gifts. It Gives me great pleasure to know that they got exactly what they want this year. They only took a break from they're game to get a couple hours of sleep. And you know what--that is OK with me. I had the best visit at grandmas house that i have ever had. they were so busy. That made them behave so well. I barely had to find something for them to do. It was nice. It won't last to long but, I'll take it while it lasts.
To sum it up I HAD FUN.

Sleep Overs!!!

This is my oldest daughter Kaelina. She is eight years old. Every now and then I make the mistake of telling her they can have a slumber party and that they can stay up all night.

Telling this to a normal child would be OK because a normal child would pass out at some point.

Not kaelina, if you have kaelina over for a sleep over and you make the mistake of mentioning that they can stay up all night, then your really in for it.

I made that mistake today, December 22, 2007. She asked if her friend could stay the night. (to be honest i kinda said yes because i thought the girls mother would say no) Well they asked if they can stay up late. HERE IT IS i say ya sure stay up all night if you want to.

WTF was i thinking. Do i not know my own child. So the night goes on and yes it is 1:30 in the morning and yes they are still awake. I think they are challenging each other who can stay awake the longest. Perhaps who can be loudest and the most annoying. (I'm not sure who is winning)

Now the tricky part, Do i yell at them all night to please for the love of ANYTHING to please go to fricking bed. Or do i let them have their one night of fun. I think we all know what i want to do, but as hard as it is I'm gonna chill and hope that i get one fricking hour of sleep.

I hope it will be worth it and if it is BEWARE you and i mean anyone (strangers and all) will hear about this for a very, very, very long ass time.

Uncle Mike

Mike is in the navy. He came home on Sunday December 16, 2007. He is going to be here for a month. When he leaves again I'm not sure where he will be. Maybe back to Japan for now. Any ways the point of this blog is that I didn't realize how much my children missed their uncle mike. When we see him they can't stay away from him. They want to sit by him even if that means they have to sit on him or on the floor.

I think that is so sweet. I talk about mike to the kids when he is gone and i show them on the map all the places he is. But I wasn't really sure if they remembered mike. I know now that they do remember him and they had missed him very much. They have made him cards and they are making him a Christmas present. They are very proud of uncle mike.

The other day we took Nana and uncle Mike, and Sara, and Steve to breakfast. while we were eating and conversing, somehow a story about kaelina and a stranger had been brought up. Well mike was enraged. He did not like what he was hearing. He wanted to know who this person was. I know that nothing would ever come of this, but I was so happy that he felt this way.

Mike has really grown in the last two-two and a half years. He left as a kid. Talking to him now it is so weird and different. I mean it is good but it is weird to think of mike as an adult. But he is just that-an adult. I know he feels bad about leaving his crew (or whatever that would be called) But I hope that he enjoys his time home.

Pre Christmas
Pre Christmas is just that, It is a Christmas before Christmas. This was the first time we did this and I wasn't sure how it was going to go, but it was so much fun! It was nice to have friends and family over to let lose and have fun. It was a day of celebration. No rules-no where to be. Even being a mom wasn't that hard on Pre Christmas.
I like this picture because we didn't pose (well i guess I did) you can see the genuine fun we were having. We May have looked fat and maybe our smile didn't look pretty, and as you can see the house was a mess. That is what happens when you have fun.
I think the best part about that night is when we did our ornament exchange. It was so fun. Not only did we get a new ornament for our trees, But we each got a fun story behind them.
I got a Santa ornament with the words hanging down, it's super cute. I stold it from Phillip which was a bad move for me because it allowed him to still an ornament from someone else. He got the very ornament that i didn't want him to get. It is a Santa holding a foot ball. It is not cute but he likes it so how can i complain.
I can't wait until next year when we get to do it again. I know it will be as fun and probably even funner. We are still going to have our Christmas eve gathering but I like Pre Christmas better so far. Here are my reasons: First I get to have my two favorite people ever there-Harmony and Phillip. Second and this one may be a little bit selfish but i can't help myself but Pre Christmas isn't for kids (they are welcome to be here and have fun and do what they what) but it is more for the adults. We can play our games and drink our drinks and talk our talk and it's cool because the kids were so busy with their games that they really didn't care what we were doing.

A star on top

This our Christmas tree. It is looking sadder and sadder every year. It looks like it is starting to bend in the middle of the tree. Well i guess it looks OK but, it needs help.

Under the tree is my husband. He is trying to fix the one part of the tree that i like. The tree skirt. It is so cute. It has a snowman-- nope it has two snowmen. I don't know what they are doing. There are some stars all around it. (It really is cuter than i made it sound to be.)

All that being said I can't wait for Christmas. I am almost child like. I want to wrap up the presents and stick them under the tree. I can't because then my kids won't believe in Santa. It's hard but i can wait.

Tomorrow we will be putting up our Christmas lights. My kids are so excited. They claim that you don't have REAL Christmas spirit until you decorate the outside of your house. So tomorrow we are going to have real Christmas spirit.

Dial Tone

MY PHONE IS BACK!!!

I received my last phone call on November 21, 2007. Out of nowhere it breaks well not even breaks i loose my dial tone. just gone. If you called me and got a busy signal, it was because i lost my dial tone.

So i try everything i can think of. I called my dad to fix it, still no luck.
I called the phone company and they run some tests and they say that there is nothing wrong on their end. they tell me that they can have a tech guy sent out in a couple days. So i ask them if there will be a charge and they say yes because you do not have insurance on your phone. What the hell- i didn't know you could even buy insurance for your home phone.

Today out of nowhere my phone rings. Scares the poo out of me. I haven't heard that sound in a long time. What the freak, how did it start working again. I don't understand and I'm not sure if it will last- but it works.
