Us

This is not a new story. This is probably a story that you are sick of, but it popped into my brain last night and i couldn't stop laughing in my head. Now it is stuck in my head.

A couple of months ago we bought a Wii. The kids were so over joyed. They play it all the time. I think that their favorite game is bowling. Anyways, since day one my son Jacob calls the Wii a us. How cute is that.

At first I didn't know what he was talking about. Mom can we play the US?
I'm thinking the US what the crap is this. So after a couple times of him asking he shows me and I figure out what he is talking about.

We would get a good laugh every time. Now he knows what it is called and we don't get that little laugh.

So right now I'm thinking back and laughing--- Ha Ha Ha.

chores

Today I have to clean my dirty house. This is a chore I don't do everyday. Unfortunately for my family. I don't know why I can't do this. It has to be the easiest thing in the world. If there is a mess clean it up. You would think that I would do that but---I don't.

I finished the dishes and there was alot of them. They were so dirty. Now i have to put away my laundry. I washed it and threw the pile on the couch. Not just one load but at least 7 loads. uuuuggghh I don't want to put these cloths away!

But I will. I can do this. I can be a normal wife and mother. I can do the things that a wife and mother should do. So here I go----I'm gonna do it.

Movies

Today we have mike and steve and sara and maria over for some dessert and coffee. We ended having brownies and vanilla ice cream. They were good. anyways we played some wii. then we got bored and played some Nintendo ds. that to got boring so we ended up playing scene it on the xbox. that was fun but as usual fil won. ass hole loser. Now we are trying to pick a movie. I don't know how many movies we own but there is nothing to watch. we can not agree on anything. I think we seriously picked up every movie and denied them.

I like watching fil and his siblings argue over which movie is lame and which one is not. I don't know how they grew up together, you would think they would like the same stuff but as it turns out they do not. I think that i am tired. I hope they pick something soon.

THE END.

The Survivors

These are my survivors. If you notice they each have their own walking sticks. These sticks they picked out on they're own. Well first Phillip picked out his stick which he brought every where on our trip. Once the kids noticed they of course wanted one too.
So slowly they found a stick of their own. They used them to walk with for I think about 20 Minutes, then they were turned into swords. Then they turned into MOM MY ARM HURTS I CAN'T HOLD THIS ANYMORE. Which made our 10 mile hike so much more fun.
They still have those sticks at the house, here they are used more for swords, but they keep them against the house just in case we go camping. I want to burn these sticks in the fire place. But how can I. It is just so cute that they want to be like they're dorky daddy. I can't imagine there will many more years that they do want to do anything that he is doing.
So as hard as it is, I'm just gonna sit back and watch my husband turn our kids into walking stick carring dorks until they are done with him. If that makes sense.

How I met my husband Part 2

So not ever been anywhere for more the 2-3 hours with this guy,we are on our way to San Fransisco. I know him but not really know him, so jumping in the car like that was crazy. I didn't call my sister and tell her that I was going and he didn't call his family either. IMPULSIVE.

It was 5:30 a.m. And nothing was open. It was SO cold. (when we left Yuba City the weather was nice.) We had one sweater between us so we kept trading off and on. We were waiting for some store- any store to open so we could pick up one more sweater. We got one and headed toward the beach. It was so pretty.

We walked for a while and then we laid down a blanket and sat and talked. Little did i know he was going to nap and i was on my own for a couple of hours. So when he finally awakes we head back toward the pier where he eats a clam chowder bowl. YUCK. I was so hungry, but i didn't want him to know plus i couldn't eat in front of him.

So he spent the day showing me all his favorite sights. It was all so pretty but (OMG if you knew him then you knew what kind of car he had) I swear it was so freaking scary. We watched the sun go down and I think we headed home around 9:00 or so.

On the way home he kept falling asleep. He is asking me to sing with him. I'm like what-No i can't do that. So he drove in and out of sleep and some how we made it home. I then had to make that call to my sister and let her know that I am alive and that I was sorry for scaring her.

I think it was about two days later and i still hadn't received a call from him and I'm thinking what the hell. So I call him. Of course he has this lame story about how he was about to call me. Yah Right. Anyways from then on we would talk on the phone for a minimum of 4 hours a day. I have no idea about what, but we did.

I then later found out that He had a date- the day we were coming home from the beach and he blew her off for me. I thought that was sweet because this was the girl is was in love with. He finally had his chance with her and he didn't take it.

How I met my husband

Well I started working at McDonald's after high school. I worked whatever shift they wanted me to work. Phillip was still in high school so he could only work at nights and on the weekends. I think about six months into working there I finally started catching the same shift as him.

At first, I didn't like him. He was slow and kinda annoying. But as time went by and we started working together I started to like him. I remember on days that he wasn't working i would be sad. And of course on days that he was working i was excited.

We would both work drive thru together and It was kinda fun because you are in a small area and we would always rub against each other. He would always look down my shirt, and to be honest i would make it so he could.

One day i needed a ride home. I think my sister volunteered him to take me home. It must have been the most quiet ride ever. We pulled up to my apartment and i just hopped out. I was kinda bummed because i wanted him to make a move and he didn't. (I later found out he wanted to too.)

So finally he graduated high school and he was accepted into college in Chico. He said he was moving up there, so he wanted to take me out on a date before he left for my birthday. So we made a date.

He knocks on my door and I open it and in walks Phillip and four of his friends. ( I'm thinking what the hell, I thought this was a date.) so we go to dinner at Carl's Jr.- Big spender. I of course couldn't eat anything I was so embarrassed. When dinner was over the all decided that they had to use the bathroom but they didn't want to use the one there so we went to brads house. As soon as they got out of the car Phillip took off. I have to admit I was excited.

We went to Hilcrest park. We talked and played and of course flirted. My god what do i have to do to get him to kiss me. Finally he made his move and after that we made out for a hour or so. I think it was like 1:00 in the morning and he says hey lets go to the beach. I without any thought say OK. We hopped in his piece of crap car and went...............

Daddy's little girl

Normally hearing those words--Daddy's little girl--sends shivers up my spine, but in this picture that is clearly the case.
I love this picture. On this particular day she wouldn't leave daddy's side. I think we were on a walk back from the beach.
